I may be heading down there once there is a call for on-the-ground volunteers, which I am sure they will need. If you want to go, too, let me know!Christahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08334513767369782167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7342820272380118010.post-10990160004520289172010-01-16T18:33:11.974-05:002010-01-16T18:33:11.974-05:00So so glad you wrote this, Christa. It was so helpful for you to do a "round up" of sorts so we can get involved in a number of ways - even just Tweeting helps - wow, unbelievable how we've evolved with communication. xoLaura Cococciahttp://thejcconline.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7342820272380118010.post-63199897493712388162010-01-16T11:28:06.890-05:002010-01-16T11:28:06.890-05:00Kathy! This will require a global effort, with all of us swaying and giving together.Christahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08334513767369782167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7342820272380118010.post-58825591087859082252010-01-15T20:36:12.843-05:002010-01-15T20:36:12.843-05:00Thanks, Christa, for penning such a clear, heartfe...Thanks, Christa, for penning such a clear, heartfelt post. It's hard to wake every day to the news as things in Haiti deteriorate. But as helpless as I feel, it's good to be reminded that I can help. My friend, who is Haitian but lives in the US, just returned from doing service in an orphanage in Haiti only days before the earthquake struck. It prompted me to write a blog on how every little bit helps.

http://lessonsfromthemonkimarried.blogspot.com/

Thanks for your post, I'm following you now...peace, KathyKatherine Jenkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16732133918969183030noreply@blogger.com
